Real-World Experience in Responsible AI Deployment and Governance
Overview
As a Trusted Advisor with Straits Interactive, I contribute to the ongoing development and application of the Capabara platform, an advanced “Capability-as-a-Service” solution that helps businesses adopt generative AI in a safe, scalable, and compliant way. This hands-on role bridges my interest in responsible AI with practical industry needs, giving me direct exposure to emerging AI governance models, enterprise deployments, and the tools that make it all possible.
Capabara supports SMEs and enterprises in integrating AI assistants, automations, and internal knowledge systems while maintaining strong adherence to data privacy, transparency, and ethical AI standards. As part of the Trusted Advisor community, I actively engage in test environments, co-design prompts and workflows, and explore real use cases that push the boundaries of AI while keeping governance front and center.
Key Contributions
Gained early access to and tested Capabara’s multi-model integration features (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
Built and refined internal knowledge assistants with document upload and retrieval capabilities
Provided feedback on prompt design workflows for role-based AI (e.g., tutor bots, advisory assistants)
Participated in discussions surrounding the ASEAN AI ecosystem, privacy-first design, and regulatory implications
Explored automation flows relevant to sectors like education, compliance, and SME operations

This project solidifies my consultancy’s foundation in ethical AI implementation and low-code or no-code automation. While many AI consultants focus on hype or generic tools, Capabara has exposed me to the operational side of responsible deployment, balancing innovation with trust, speed with transparency, and automation with accountability.
Impact
Through this Trusted Advisor role, I’ve sharpened my ability to identify high-impact, low-risk AI strategies for clients. More importantly, I bring a deep understanding of how to guide businesses not just through implementation, but through a cultural and governance shift toward responsible AI use.
